Like the title says. I installed one of these on my Epson Artisan 837 without too much trouble, and loved it until that one reached end of life. Got the WF-7610 specifically so we could do CISInks continuous supply. Unfortunately, I can't get the printer to recognize the CIS cartridges on this new printer.

Here's a summary of what happens:
Printer prompts to install the cartridges.
I open the scanner and push the button for 3 seconds.
On printer touch screen, if I push "Check" it says: "Ink cartridges are installed correctly. Close the scanner unit."
I close the scanner unit and it checks: "Checking the ink cartridges. Please wait..."
Then it says "Cannot recognize the following cartridges" and lists all 4.

I've installed the cartridges. No problems there. Battery is connected to the cartridges. I have verified that the battery is connected and that the battery is charged (3.2V).

To my knowledge there have been no firmware updates to the printer since it was installed.

Please advise. Thanks!

Please advise, that the Artisan 837 printer is NOT the same chips as the WF-7610 printer that you have.

You will need to make sure you are using the correct chips for the WF-7610.

IF You are , and ALL cartridges are not recognizing, you need to hard reset the printer .

You will need to do this ONCE with the battery wire installed on the chips and ONCE without it. Depending on the printers firmware, one of these will work .

Take a look at our online instructions here for a precise guide on how to do this .

You may contact us for support there. You will get a response sooner than this forum. Thank you.
