Hello! It appears to me like the air vent plug was still capped when you attempted to print. What you would need to do is to remove all of the plugs from the external ink tanks and then proceed to prime the cartridges.
After you prime each color, you must cap the rubber plug at the top of the cartridges fast. Please take a look at the video link below as it goes into detail about all of the steps that need to be taken.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIq1QBWOkuw
Also, look inside of the cartridge itself and check to see if there's any actual ink in the cartridges, that would be a good indication as to what the issue could be.
