Got a new 810 and modded the case as per the video listed.  All went well with no hitches except to say that with the ink tubes in place, it seems the lid comes down awfully tight upon them.  I checked and rechecked by pulling the tubes back a bit, to have a look, but could not see any crimping going on.  Does anyone else note that or is all ok?  Will the lid cut them coming out the back like that?

Another thing, what's with all the syringes and needles.  Aren't the reservoirs directly fillable from the refill bottles? Having separated out the syringes and needles and having placed them in a drawer, only to have my wife discover them, required more than a little explaining..........

If you already inspected the ink lines and there was not actual crimping on the hoses, all is well.  If you have any questions at all, e-mail us (sales@cisinks.com) with your contact number and we'll give you a call to address this issue for you.

Explain to your wife that the needles and syringes are typically used to put ink into the ink reservoirs (if you are using an ink bottle that doesn't have the easy fill tip on them) and are also a troubleshooting tool to help you purge any air out of the ink lines.  Be sure to mention that you love your wife very much and you would never compromise your marriage by injecting yourself with foreign substances!    Wink
