Canon printers tend to be complicated to install because Canon deigns their printers to prevent the use of CIS systems. There is very little space within the printer for the ink lines to move around. Sometimes you have to modify your printer by cutting away at the frame of the printer, which will void any warranty
on your printer. We highly recommend using refillable cartridges
instead if you won't want to do anything drastic to your printer.
These videos are intended as general guidelines. Your main goal of installing any CIS system is to make sure that your ink lines are not too long, which can cause it to 'whip around', or too short, which will 'tug' on the ink lines and might cause either recognition issues or break the ink lines.ALWAYS keep your ink tank reservoirs on the same surface as your printer when installing your CIS system!
If not, ink can leak into your printer. ALWAYS use your best judgment when installing your system. ALWAYS contact us if you have any questions PRIOR to installing your system. You can reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org
