This video leave out something important. It shows inserting gaskets, but not removing the originals. I did exactly as shown and had serious problems vertical misalignment of printhead. I removed their gaskets and everything worked well. They said original gaskets should have be removed, but video and instructions with the cartridges leave that out. I suggest not replacing the gaskets unless you have a leakage problems. IF IT AINíT BROKE DONíT FIX IT.

Hello,

Since this DIY kit would be used with the store bought Canon cartridges you would not need to install washers. You would only need to install washers to our refillable cartridge or CISS systems which you sponge type cartridges.
